Jayla is at the top of expected leg use. Many CHD3 kids don't walk until 3-5 years old, she started at just under 2 years old. Jayla is going up and down stairs and climbing on furniture. She also rides peddle toys.

Jayla doesn't talk at this time but is getting speech therapy. She has a very small vocabulary but will surprise us once in a while with a new word used right. Jayla does a little signing and will point and make a vocal noise to express her needs or wants.
We are hopeful she will learn how to verbalize her thoughts with her speech therapy.
